Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas!!! & Happy Holidays!

Sorry about this long overdue post. I kinda went crazy with laziness after I got out of school. Haha, but now I'm back! And better than ever. :D

First of all, I'd like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas//Happy Holidays!! Although I'm quite possibly the last person on earth who would be religious, I still think special days like today need to be celebrated. It brings family and friends (sometimes even strangers!) closer together and just makes winter so much brighter! I appreciate the world more and it makes me very happy. :) So guys, have yourself a very merry Christmas//holiday!

This semester is finally over. I'm so happy. I was so burnt out in the end, I don't think I can use my brain for a while (or want to :P). I'm not really satisfied though. I definitely could've tried harder but I didn't and it makes me worried. Oh well. All I can tell myself is I'll try harder next semester.

For some reason, I've recently become addicted to Fire Emblem (8) thanks to Anya :P. I never realized strategy games were so much fun! Okay, so I'm pretty bad at it right now because I'm so rash, but I've definitely gotten better recently. I tried playing Fire Emblem 5 but it was way too hard. Ridiculously hard. Roy is so weak and he keeps dying. :*( Oh well.

Sorry for this boring post. I'm really tired right now. I will put up something worth reading later...so for now, Happy Holidays loves!

Harvard students who are advocating a return to the founding principles of the university are also trying to get a Hapsburg royal to rule over the student body. Supposedly, that's going to help them gain an advantage when negotiating with the school.

Despite the fact that no American university has ever established a hereditary monarchy to rule over the student body, Waite says that this is certainly no obstacle.

'Harvard is always on the forefront of change. We can set an example,' he says.

Google Earth Spawns Terrorists Attacks: (again, a story I found from foreign policy. <3!)

According to the sole captured terrorist responsible for the Mumbai attacks, the gunmen studied Google Earth maps to familiarize themselves with the streets of the Mumbai financial center. Hm, that's so interesting. Assuming these people are slightly anti-capitalism (they DID attack the financial center of Mumbai), it's so ironic that these terrorists are using GOOGLE to further their cause. & Blackberries & internet telephone services to avoid detection. 

Watch out Apple, you're next. 

Triple Ms. No Joke.

I was watching TV a few weeks ago and this story about this housewife (?) who has had 18 plastic surgeries...8 of which were to enlarge her breasts to triple M. Don't believe it? You can google it yourself. Her name is Sheyla Hershey.

Kissing can make you go deaf.

A Chinese girl was kissing her boyfriend when she suddenly went deaf in one ear. Apparently they had an intense makeout session that led to her breaking her eardrum because of a sudden reduced pressure in her mouth. 

I'm not good with this kind of science, but man that sounds painful. :X

Fruit Flies & Truck Drivers

I don't know about other girls but I HATE it when truck drivers honk their horn at me (and wave at me?). I find it rude, unflattering, ungentlemanly, and quite unappealing. If you're not going to talk to me, why bother getting my attention? I don't even know these people. They should just focus on their driving and get a life. Besides, the road is no place to flirt. If they really want to, they could go to a bar or strip club or wherever they like to go to do that stuff. It's not only safer, girls there would probably be more responsive. I'm definitely not interested.

So a word of advice. Unless you're really that awesome, try to refrain from honking at random girls in the street.

On the other hand, there's a fruit fly outbreak in my house. People should definitely start cleaning up after themselves. They're disgusting and they're everywhere. Damn it. I can't wait for winter break.
